The Moonlight Track Run 2025 is a one-of-a-kind night ultra-running event set under the moonlit sky at the prestigious Periyar University Athletic Track in Salem. Rules & Guidelines
To ensure a fair and safe experience:
- Bib must be worn visibly throughout the race.
- Only registered runners are allowed on the track.
- No pacers allowed inside the track (except for relay handovers).
- Runners must use designated lanes only.
- Rest breaks are allowed, but time continues to run.
- Relay baton exchange should be smooth within marked zone.
- Medical team has the right to stop any runner deemed unfit to continue.

Registration Rules & Details
To ensure fairness and to maintain the quality of participation, the following qualifying criteria must be met:
6-Hour Solo Run
➔ Must have completed 21 kilometers within 3 hours in any official race or virtual event.
12-Hour Solo Run
➔ Must have completed 42 kilometers within 6 hours in any official race or virtual event.
➔ If available, participants who have completed 50 kilometers can also share their finisher certificate link for verification.
2-Hour x 6 Members Team Relay
➔ Each team member must be capable of running at least 10 kilometers within 1 hour 30 minutes.

Top Finisher Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for "Top Finisher" recognition in each category, participants must meet the following minimum performance standards:
12-Hour Solo Run
➔ Must complete a minimum of 65 kilometers.
6-Hour Solo Run
➔ Must complete a minimum of 40 kilometers.
2-Hour x 6 Members Team Relay
➔ Each member must complete a minimum of 16 kilometers.
Note:
➔Top Finishers will be awarded a Shield as recognition.
➔No prize money will be given.
